The Upperton Road scheme proposed a of 29 dwelling apartment block to be accessed from Upperton Road. Bright Plan were commissioned to provided design and transport planning services to support the outline planning application.
The apartment block had a relatively small footprint limiting the available space for on-site parking. Bright Plan overcame the limited parking provision through the application a of flexible unallocated parking provision. The unallocated parking provision improves parking efficiently by reducing the likelihood of parking spaces being left vacant which can occur in allocated parking arrangements.
