Commissioned to provide transport planning advice and assessment for a local authority led social housing development in Godalming. The proposal entailed the phased implementation of 99 dwellings. Provided Design Assessment, Transport Statement and Travel Plan services to support the Phase B and C planning applications.

Highway challenges included meeting the required parking standards on the constrained historical road layout with limited off-street parking facilities available. Through liaison with the local highway authority and reconfiguration of the site’s parking arrangement we were able to overcome this constraint and provide an agreeable parking provision, whilst maintaining appropriate carriageway operation.
