Provided highway design and assessment services for a large industrial development proposal at Little Testwood Farm, Totton, Southampton. Due to the sites scale and its proximity to the strategic road network the local highway authority required a number of major junctions to be capacity tested in order to assess the developments impact on their operation.

The capacity assessment was based on extensive survey works, allowing numerous robust modelling scenarios to be considered. The robust strategy enabled the schemes progression through planning, satisfying concerns from the LHA regarding the LRN’s capacity.
